New Year's Affirmation
Release and Let Go
The upcoming New Year is always a good time to put away the old ways of thinking and doing, and make room for something new and wonderful in your life. I like the affirmation, "I release and let go of all things that no longer serve my life. I am open and willing for peace and all the good God is willing to bless me with."
So, if you're on board for ridding your life of negativity, you can do what traditionally has been done for years. Write down all the things you want to get rid of in your life on a piece of paper: trauma, bad relationships, bad eating, habits, misfortune, lack... then burn the paper on New Year's Eve. Do it with a group of friends.
Then write on another paper all the things you want to make room for in your life. This is the most important part of the ritual. Keep this somewhere safe so you can revisit it next year at the end of the year and be amazed at what God has done in your life.
Be open to more than you think you want. Instead of asking to have your bills paid, ask for abundance beyond measure. Instead of asking for a man in your life, ask for a soul-mate relationship that fulfills every need you could desire, even ones you can't imagine. Don't limit yourself! Be open to all that God has to give.
Namaste.
