A Change in Perspective
I talked to a friend yesterday who shared with me about her two daughters who have lived a rather lavish life. She told me that they spent a day working for Second Harvest Food Bank. The experience changed their lives. I took the day to wonder about a change in perspective. How a paradigm shift could help anyone in a time of ambivalence or depression. I remember the last time a friend passed away, how the next month, all I thought about was the importance of living a life in the moment.
Today, try seeing life through someone eyes a little less fortunate as yours... someone sick, someone poor, someone struggling. Maybe you'll come back to your own life with some cherished thanks.
