Mind Chatter

Mind Chatter: Many people think they can't meditate because of this nasty thing called mind chatter. I'm here to tell you that even the greatest of meditators don't try to stop the chatter, they acquiesce to it. Chatter is in the human brain. Your objective in meditation is to rise above your humanness and enter into the observer or GodMind. So, what you do is become an objective listener that learns to simply watch the path of the mind and not respond to its trickery. When you get to that point, the mind does often quiet, because it realizes it can no longer trap you in your past, anger, anxiety and negativity. Then you get a feeling of freedom and peace like you've never felt before. This is what the great sages called Nirvana.
