Destiny

In everyone's lives there comes a time when we meet destiny head on. I find that most time it is with a question that life folds into our hearts. My recent bout with destiny was: How often do you take a moment to be joyful for just yourself? Do you even know what pure joy is without thinking about what another might think or feel? I almost cried when I began to think about how much life I had wasted and how the possibility of feeling selfishness has kept me from ever feeling complete joy. It was a moment I'll never forget--a moment of destiny. I pray I may one day soon get to experience joy unencumbered.
