Can Anyone Find True Happiness?
It is said that if you have not experienced true grief, that you will never know true happiness. Why is it in life that all our lessons have extreme juxtapositions? It seems that as far back as the biblical characters, lessons were learned by selling our souls to Satan, before we could understand the meaning of a loving God. Is there a divine purpose for this kind of learning in our human existence? I would say from my experience, there must be.
I look back at everything in my life that I have truly found to be completely understood. Every time it has come from an experience that, I thought, would leave me cold and devastated forever. But soon, I found the courage to live again--next time with a little more balance--next time with a little more wisdom.
I feel as if someone out there is reading this and is going through something really difficult--next to impossible to endure. Your back is against the wall. You have no money to do what you need to do. You are suffering in pain. You are struggling with a decision that could change your life forever, but leaves you with nothing. I want to speak to you now.
This is the time to take back your power. Your power is that place of peace that no one and no circumstance can pull from you. It's the peace a person has standing outside the rubble of a home just taken in a tornado. It's the foundational understanding that you are here for a reason. Not taken with the tornado, but left here for a purpose... Until you get to that purpose and find your reason, you will continue to walk in a fog not knowing where to go.
People and things have taken away your power. Today is the day to throw down the gauntlet and say, my future is mine to choose! I may have to separate from people, places, and jobs to get my power back, but I will. It is the most important thing that I can do now and always.
Now when you get your power back, you can begin to work as hard as you can to find your dream, focus on a spiritual walk, and trust that you are put on this earth for a divine reason. Everyone is. Every day this reason is being revealed to you. All you have to do is listen... to the wind, to the flowers, to your heart... You'll hear it. I promise.
