Self Sabotage

Self Sabotage:

I am in one of those places in my life where everything seems to be flowing almost perfectly. I love love love my job and relationship. I feel secure and vibrant. My family is healthy and stable (hello!... you got to love that). My home is a safe haven. My garden--my hobby--is blooming like sunshine on broken glass. Every morning I enjoy going out and watching the new flowers that I have nurtured manifest into something glorious. All of these things make my heart sing.

Yet, in the dark of the night, I wonder sometimes if I deserve it all. Or worse yet, how long it will last before something catastrophic will happen to destroy it.

Though some of these thoughts may be normal, I'd say that if you are imagining that you don't deserve your goodness and that it will be gone soon, something has been set up in your subconscious that has taught you otherwise.

We all have had times in our lives where things haven't worked out. Some of us have had a lifetime of harsh realities. This sets up neuro pathways in your mind that keep you believing that you will eventually fail. However, this does not mean that you can't set up a new pathway to truth and goodness. Nor does this mean that the rest of life has to be the way your past has been?  I'm of the belief that it doesn't.

You know, you have spent your entire life getting to this point: conquering your fears, becoming prosperous, getting educated for more and better things to come. You haven't moved forward for God and the universe to push you backward.

This is a crucial time in our lives to see that we have been created in the image of God. That would mean we are creators, people who manifest Good and Love and Joy, prosperity conscious believers, truth seekers, lovers of wisdom, compassion givers. All of these things you must make room for in your life. And if you are thinking negative thoughts, you are using up space that could be manifesting good.

Think on that. We only have so much space in our minds. If we use some of it for negative thoughts, we have that much less to use to manifest our good.

Be well.
