Facing a Storm
Lately, life has seemed to spiral from perfection to dismal in a matter of minutes... Seconds. I think of how many times I've looked outside and have seen a beautifully clear sky and minutes later it was storming. I have stopped believing that the storm was simply raining on me and noone else. Good and bad are not reserved for some and not for others. I do believe, however, in the possibilty of a new day carrying with it a chance for either.
So now the choice becomes to relish in the sunshine. When it storms to weather it, seek protection, maybe run and play in it, but certainly not be stifled by it.

It was very appropriate that I found this website today. Outside the sky is growing dark and thunder sounds menacingly close as the beginnings of Hurricane Irene approach.
I face my own coming storm, a storm of my own making. Once again I have jumped from the "frying pan into the fire" in relationship choices.
Now the clouds that hindered my intuition are clearing I see that I must make changes. It will not be comfortable making those changes but I need to do it now while I feel strong enough to accomplish the task.
Wishing for sunny skies to come even as the rain pounds my roof and the wind lashes my stamina.
