Is He Independent?
I have to admit that my dream relationship for many years was a man who truly needed me. But I have lived through that. Let me tell you, honey, if you haven’t, it is no fun to be needed so much that you’re sucked dry of your vital life force.
To interrelate is not to be interdependent. I believe that two married people should look similar to a large tree having one trunk and two thick, separate branches growing toward the sky. The two become one at the base, in the core, and at the root, but are free to express and grow dependently. Too much clinging and interdependence can choke your relationship.
